A: When your present hosting provider can no longer answer the requirements of your web site, or if you go through constant network downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the customer service staff to reply to you, it might be a clever idea to swap your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your web sites together with your databases from your current provider to your new provider. At Rtt2, we understand that this can often be difficult and time–consuming. This is why we will do all that for you for free!Our capable technical team will transfer your web site content from your current web hosting provider to us. Our techs have got plenty of experience with web site migration and can take care of anything – from a typical WordPress–driven blog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven web site, to an extremely elaborate, custom–made application.

A: We strive to perform all web site migrations ASAP. Even so, we don’t have a fixed time frame for website migrations. There are different aspects that you need to consider – the sheer size of your site and the workload of our website migration team, etc. We always strive to perform each migration in less than 48 hours. With less sizeable web sites, our team usually manages to finish in less than 24 hours.

A: We don’t collect any personal data. We will require, though, the login info for your present web hosting account along with the name of the web site that you wish to move.

A: Before we can begin the migration of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share the exact same info you have provided to your current web hosting provider. We’ve also got a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how personal info is used.

A: While we move your web site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. Once the migration is finished, we will ensure that everything is functioning properly and that the integrity of your web content is not compromised before informing you that the transfer is finished. After that, we’ll tell you how to transfer the domain to your web hosting account with us and how to change the DNS settings.

A: While we migrate your web content, your hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t touch base with them in any way.

A: Yep. We support all standard Linux–based web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–driven hosting platforms, since we do not provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.In addition, we don’t support proprietary web site creation and administration user interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
